Santh is an engineering studio. We build software — from security platforms and forensic scanners to desktop utilities and autonomous systems. Santh Tools documents the infrastructure that makes this work possible.

The Problem

Tool overload is real.

There are 30,000+ SaaS tools on the market. Every "best tools" article ranks by commission rate, not quality. Founders waste months evaluating software that looks great in demos but fails in production.

We got tired of it. So we started documenting what actually works — the tools that survived being used under pressure, at scale, with real deadlines and real budgets.

Our Approach

Use it or don't list it.

Every tool on this site has been used in at least one production project. We don't review tools from press kits. We don't write about software we installed once and uninstalled.

If something makes the list, we can tell you exactly what it does well, what it fails at, and whether the free alternative is good enough.

Principles

What we stand on.

Transparency over revenue. Some links on this site are affiliate links. We earn a commission if you sign up — at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on every page. We will never recommend a tool because of its commission structure. If a tool pays 60% but is mediocre, it won't appear here.
Free alternatives always listed. For every paid tool we recommend, we mention the best free option. If the free version is genuinely good enough for your use case, we'll tell you. Our job is to save you time, not extract money.
Updated quarterly. Tools change. Pricing shifts. Better options emerge. Every recommendation is reviewed quarterly and updated or removed based on our continued experience. Nothing gets a permanent spot.
Shortcomings are features. Every review includes a "What it gets wrong" section. No tool is perfect. The interesting part is knowing exactly where the limitations are so you can plan around them.
Builder credibility. We're not marketers reviewing tools for marketers. We're engineers and builders who depend on these tools to ship real products. The perspective is different because the stakes are different.
